Durham CCC is cricket`s youngest first class county, having been granted first class status in 1991. Since then the Club have gone from strength to strength and boast one of the finest grounds in the country, which is also the newest addition to the Test Match circuit having hosted England v Zimbabwe in the second npower Test on the 5th June 2003.
