The All England Lawn Tennis Ground PLC, jointly and equally owned by The All England Lawn Tennis Club and The Lawn Tennis Association, derives its funds to meet capital expenditure from the sale of Centre Court Wimbledon Debenture Tickets and Number 1 Court Debenture Tickets every five years. Debenture tickets are the only Wimbledon tickets which can be transferred legally; all other Wimbledon Tennis tickets are issued to the original applicant and must be used by them.
